Power, image and memory.

Marc Vincent Kalinka is an Italian artist whose research explores the intersection of image, language, and critical thought. His work examines cultural and symbolic mechanisms shaping contemporary history, revealing dynamics of power, control, and latent violence embedded within collective memory. Through a rigorous conceptual approach, he employs recognizable references from Western culture as reflective devices, situating his work in a space of tension between ideology and intimacy, authority and desire. His research has been presented in major international institutional contexts, including the Venice Biennale (in two editions) and the Moscow Biennale.
